How corrections work
When a figure or a reading of a figure turns out to be wrong, we amend the article and append a dated correction note describing the error and the fix. The note is permanent.
When sources are revised
Studies get updated and datasets get restated. When a source we cited changes, we revisit the article, mark it as updated with a date, and state what the revision changed in our conclusion.
Requesting a correction
Write to the desk via our contact page with the article, the figure in question and the evidence. We answer every request, including the ones we decline, and we explain the reasoning.
